Two lawmakers who represent the district where a multi-million dollar casino is being proposed to be built want the voters to decide the odds of its future.ĭelegate Israel O'Quinn and Senator Bill Carrico addressed members of the press Thursday at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum and announced plans to carry legislation to Richmond's General Assembly that would call for a local referendum vote in November 2019 on Bristol, Virginia's ballot for a casino and resort that developers Jim McGlothlin and Clyde Stacy want to construct in the former Bristol Mall location on Gate City Highway.
